Is this product washable

The controller MUST be removed before putting the heated throw into the washing machine, on a delicate or wool 30 degree wash with no additional spins. Let the washed throw dry naturally, not in a dryer. Before re-attaching the controller to the throw, please make sure the contacts are completely dry.

The approximate weight is 2.3kg.

I have brought many electric blankets & often find the quoted size is the overall size of the blanket. Strange but what is important is the size of the heated area as the reason for buying an electric blanket is directly the reason that one purchases an electri blanket. Some i have bought are a little bigger than a couple of hot water bottles. resulting in cold feet or coold chest & a return . Is this another illusion with this product. Obviously if I wanted a large blanket that is what i would shop for.

The heating elements are approximately 10cm from the edge on two sides and 6cm from the edge on the other two sides. The complete size for the Xl Throw is 130cm x 200cm.

Could i use an adaptor to run this off my 12v (cigarette lighter) car socket without it draining the battery overnight?

No, this requires electric and is supplied with a 3 pin plug. This would drain your car battery.

Can you lay on this and then pull it over you too? Does it matter if it gets slightly crumpled when used?

This product is designed to drape over the top of you, and not to lay on top of. You will need a heated under-blanket for this purpose. Although you can wrap the throw round you, if the wire elements become bent, this may damage them, and stop them heating up evenly.

Hi I got one of the throws a couple of days ago and I adore the size. One question though is that the heating is very patchy, is this normal and even at high it's not terribly warm. Is this how it should be? Thanks

The heating should be even, not patchy. Try to make sure the heating elements inside are not bent or trapped.

Will it drape over singlebed

The measurements of this throw are 130cm x 200cm, so if you lay the throw across the bed so the 200cm measurement is the width, it will drape over. However, you will only have 130cm for the length.
